Bowling Development Company, LLC

Fostering goodwill and the feeling of family
is the core of our very foundation.

Terry Bowling, and Bowling Development Company, has been servicing the cities in and around the I-40 corridor for over 30 years. Creating projects that reflect an understanding and incorporation of heritage-based ideas with contemporary appeal. North Carolina has a broad and rich heritage. There is much in the way of language, traditions and buildings that come from the past and are an important part of its rich appeal.

It is important to BDC to maintain and preserve the past, and just as important to us to build and refurbish with modern and contemporary aesthetics that will endure well into the future. Quality and integrity is our trademark, and realizing your dreams is goal. Scroll below to view some of our projects, click the button below to request a quote or schedule a free consultation.

Influences of Heritage

The Arts and Crafts movement was an international movement that came about between 1880 and 1920. The focus was on the decorative and fine arts which began in Britain and flourished in Europe and North America. The well-known William Morris was a British textile designer, poet, novelist and social activist in the 1800’s.

These Morris quotes say a lot about his philosophy:

“Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.”

“The true secret of happiness lies in taking a genuine interest in all the details of daily life.”

“I do not want art for a few any more than education for a few, or freedom for a few.”
